Come to Sunday School. Learn the word of God.
The Sunday School is the educational foundation for all Christians. With classes for all ages, we are equipping our members with the knowledge required for Christian growth. Our teaching staff is dedicated to imparting a deeper understanding of the bible thereby transforming lives through the Word of God.
Everyone is welcome to join us as we grow together and be what God has called us to be.
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. [2 Timothy 2:15]
Mission
Ministry
As Christians we have been called to serve. The Mission Ministry is dedicated to reaching and teaching through service. By studying the Word of God, we equip ourselves with the tools necessary to serve our congregation and our community. Modeling our lives after Christ, we aim to inspire others to follow Christ by being an example. Called for a purpose, we aspire to become kingdom builders for Christ through service to others.

Hope Youth Ministry
Is there anything better than a Christian foundation based on Honor, Obedience, Pride and Excellence? Today's youth face many challenges: in school, at home and even at church. The goal of the H.O.P.E. Youth Ministry is to prepare our youth to face everyday challenges and equip them for life’s journey through honor, obedience, pride and excellence. We don’t know where life will take them but we can prepare them for the journey. By providing an environment conducive to reaching and teaching, we open our youth to greater possibilities giving them H.O.P.E. for the future and know who they are to bring honor, obedience, pride and excellence to themselves and God.
Music
Ministry
Our Choir consist of several singing units Mass Choir, Youth Choir and Mighty Men of Metropolitan.
Our mission is to magnify the Lord through song as we lift up the name of Jesus. With our gifts of singing in the music ministry along with the anointed hands of musicians we serve as an enhancement to the worship service as we prepare the congregation for the delivery of God’s word from our Pastor.

This ministry welcomes all the gifts of singing to help lift up the name of Jesus.
New Members
Ministry
The purpose of the class is to learn to study God’s word and to open our hearts to the truth of the word (John 8:31-32).
​
We are not here to discuss the different “opinions” of the word, we are here to learn what God is saying to us. To learn how to hear what God is saying and to put what we learn into action.
​
The purpose is to put truth into action, knowledge apart from application falls short of God’s desire for His children. Knowledge must result in change and growth, the purpose of this class is to stimulate discovery to increase understanding and encourage applications.
New member pictures are taken each 4th Sunday following Sunday School.
Usher Ministry
As Ushers at Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church, we are servants of God. We promote an atmosphere of a sweet spirit where all who enter our house of worship may be greeted with a warm smile as we meet, greet and seat all who enter the house of God. We meet the needs of the pastor and the congregation during worship service. We ensure distractions are kept to a minimum in and around the church.

Men's
Ministry
Men's "Locker Room" Ministry brings fresh ideas and great energy to collaborate on how to be most effective in Kingdom building. The ministry allows a safe haven for Africian American Men to communicate issues that plagues the community.

Iron, sharpens iron. We welcome all men to participate and help sharpen one another in being great servants to Christ.
